For engineering applications requiring standards-approved aggregates, our Type 1 granite aggregate is an excellent choice. This coarse aggregate product is approved by the Ministry of Transport for sub-base paving applications including high-traffic roads, driveways, and paths. Also ideal as a sub-base for patios and in other structural applications requiring a stable and compact aggregate surface.

When applied in building and landscaping projects as a sub-base, Type 1 granite creates a uniformly compact surface that suppresses weed growth whilst sustaining loads from people and vehicles from above.
